The International Student Exchange (ISE) program at FIU is only open to students at our partner institutions. Click below to see the complete list of institutions that have partnered with FIU.
If you do not see your school, then you are not eligible to participate in FIU’s ISE program at this time. You may want to consider applying as an international student to earn your degree at FIU.
If your school is included among our partner institutions, you should contact the Office of International Relations, Mobility, or Education Abroad at your home university for application information. If you are not sure how to contact them, please e-mail our office at email@example.com and we will provide contact information.
Your home university probably requires you to apply to participate in the exchange program. If your application is accepted by your university, then the coordinator will give you instructions to apply for the ISE program at FIU.
Upon your nomination, the Office of Education Abroad (OEA) will send you specific instructions on how to complete your ISE application. Fall semester and academic year applications are due March 15, and spring semester applications are due September 1.
After your ISE application is accepted by the OEA, we will work with you to submit all necessary documents, including visa paperwork. The OEA will also register you for classes and help you prepare for your arrival at FIU. It is important that you follow all instructions from the OEA carefully throughout the whole process!
