INFORMATION FOR FIU STUDENTS AND ALUMNI:
According to the Fulbright regulations, if you are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at FIU, you must apply through the Fulbright Program Adviser (FPA) at FIU. If you have already graduated, know that FIU alumni are also welcome to apply through FIU’s FPA.
Applying through your campus FPA provides certain benefits that are not available to at-large applicants. Campus FPAs provide general advice about the Fulbright Program and application procedures. Also, when applying through the campus FPA, candidates are interviewed by a faculty committee that evaluates their applications and prepares a written evaluations and ratings of each candidate.

INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AND SCHOLARS WANTING TO COME TO FIU ON FULBRIGHT:
Students and scholars from abroad must apply to the Fulbright Foreign Student Program (https://foreign.fulbrightonline.org/) and the Fulbright Foreign Scholars Program (https://www.cies.org/program/fulbright-visiting-scholar-program) directly, not through FIU or the FPA. They are responsible for arranging their own affiliations as needed.
Once awarded, Visiting Fulbright Students and Visiting Fulbright Scholars coming to FIU for their awards work with their academic department for placement and on-boarding, as well as with International Student and Scholar Services for visa compliance.
